I’ve been in a small rut this week… not quite sure why. So yesterday I decided it was time to take control of it and tried to do things a little differently….
I packed up the girls in the morning and we headed down to the beach for a long walk….
Wrote down all the things I am grateful for….
Stayed off of all social media until the middle of the day….
And had a good conversation with an old friend…..
I think it’s so easy to fall into a rut sometimes, and often changing things up a bit really helps to change my perspective + outlook on life….
And sometimes adding in a new piece, with an old favorite, is a simple way to make that item feel fresh again. I bought these joggers right after I had Camille and have worn them throughout the summer… with a silk cami, over a swimsuit, and with a basic tank… and hadn’t pulled them out in a while. Then I bought this cute little swing tank and knew that they would be perfect together for the end of summer….
Wanting to see if the pants would transition into fall, I pulled out my favorite suede jacket (white sand color) and tried them on together… simple, classic, and a perfect neutral combination. I also saw this beautiful cashmere sweater (in store) and think it would look so timeless with these joggers.
Point being, I’m officially moving these pants to the front of my closet for fall!
