Last weekend, we did our usual morning walk/sprint for some avocado toast. I initially tossed on these shorts and a sleeveless sweatshirt, but thought I might be too cold (I don’t know what on earth gave me that thought…). So, I switched out the shorts with my favorite high waisted capris and off we went. Mistake realized after the first round of sprints. I miscalculated the weather, and forgot that summer was upon us. Which reminded me of the need for easy and breezy pieces for the summertime. Simple items that can keep me cool and comfortable all day long…. enter drawstring shorts and swing tops. It’s almost like you’re wearing acceptable pajamas outside the house…. literally. Toss on a few cute accessories and you’re ready to head out the door…. I stumbled across this pair of shorts and fell in love with how versatile they are. Easy for daytime, yet the material is nice enough for an evening happy hour. Simply toss on a dressier top, a wedge, and you’re ready to go!… and the top easily pairs with cut-offs for a super casual daytime look……
