For the past several weekends, we’ve been spending a few hours, each day, cleaning up + organizing various parts of our condo in preparation to put it on the market. We started with the kitchen, moved to our closets (man… those were a lot of work…), and this past weekend we tackled our little patio. Over the years, it’s gone through cycles… various patio furniture sets… several strings of lights… and in the fall/winter months it became quite dirty… only to be dusted off come summer. This season, we’d gone a particularly long time without cleaning it off… more focused on getting out of our place, than actually enjoying it… which is why we put it off as the last project. So, yesterday morning, TJ got to work and cleaned it up quite nicely….

When we got home last night, and started making dinner, Harper ventured out and asked to eat her dinner “outside…” We’d made homemade pizza, so it was an easy dinner to enjoy al fresco. With music playing in the background, our twinkly lights on, and a freshly cleaned patio, TJ + I had a moment of nostalgia. We’ve been so determined on getting out of our place over the past month, that we had forgotten all that was really great about it. A little reminder that home is what you make it… the memories you fill it with… and the people who occupy it… not how big it is… how luxurious it is… or how modern it is….

So, as we enter into the week ahead, here’s to loving where you live… even if it’s not exactly “perfect.” Have a great week friends! xx

We haven’t been to spin in several weeks… and we’re looking forward to getting back into the “spin” of it this coming weekend….. Also going to make a batch of the Tone It Up chia seed pudding for breakfasts….

Shopbop has some super cute items on sale right now…. including my favorite floral maxi skirt (matching top), polka dot one shoulder top, favorite macrame tote bag, super cute everyday casual shorts, favorite white asymmetrical swim top (size up one), and one shoulder floral top.

There are so many adorable little white dresses out there right now, and I love all these white dress options … specifically this button front sleeveless dress, lace midi dress (so feminine),  embroidered flowy dress, and this gauzy eyelet dress. I’m also obsessed with this flowy white jumpsuit, and this top/skirt combo (I couldn’t resist the sale!).

I’m also in the market for a few cute loungewear pieces and this jumpsuit looks so comfortable… as do these cropped sweatpants (look so soft…)… and they would be super cute with this rainbow stripe tee.

This lace bodysuit + white lace cami are both perfect for summer… and can easily be worn with a cute pair of cut-offs….

The selection of summer slides here is amazing too…. I have this studded pair in my cart and I’m looking at this cute little espadrille as well.
