Shopping with little miss has become quite the ordeal as of late (for different reasons than in the past)…. she’s started to develop her own personal style and preferences, and that’s made for a few interesting shopping trips. Like, the other day when she refused to take off a puffer vest…. to her preference for this ruffled sweatshirt… and refusal to wear these adorable shoes I originally picked out for her because, in her opinion, these kicks are better. And while it might throw my outfit plans for her out the window, I admittedly love seeing her personality and preferences flourish… and be expressed…..
So, when she picked out this ruffle sweatshirt all on her own during our shopping trip last weekend, I was thrilled. I had been on the hunt for some casual fall and winter pieces for her… and since most of our weekends are spent outside, or running errands of some sort, I wanted items she could easily run around in and that would keep her warm + comfortable. Nordstrom had so many cute options it took us a little while to narrow down our favorites. These joggers will be perfect for our upcoming trip to Park City, since I can easily layer some leggings underneath, and top them off with some cute rain boots…. and they’re perfect for a day of traveling (like mother, like daughter….)… or splashing around in puddles like she was doing a few hours before we took these photos (we experienced our very first light rain and any drop of water was considered a puddle….)….
A few other weekend favorites we found include this stripe long sleeve top, stripe ruffle top, basic leggings, cozy hoodie (which pairs with the peach pair of the joggers she is wearing), and this faux fur lined hoodie (so cute and comfy). For the little guys in your life, I love these fleece jogger pants, knit jogger pants, zip-up hoodie, and this stripe shirt.
