When it came time to picking out Harper’s first set of wheels, I had two brands in mind. I consulted with my friends, did my own research, and easily landed on an UPPAbaby. It was endorsed by all my friends for its “lightweight” frame and “ease of portability.” The bassinet was touted as “a bed on wheels” for the little one. So, it was only natural, with reviews like that, that I too, landed on the UPPAbaby Vista stroller. When the stroller arrived TJ and I excitedly put it together…. even pushed it around the house a few times, envisioning what it would be like when little Harper arrived. So, the real test happened when we brought her home and decided to go on our first family walk (I secretly couldn’t wait to use the stroller!). Needless to say, we were more than happy with the “real thing.”

I have personally found this stroller to be the best fit for our family. We are definitely an on-the-go crew and the Vista model is a perfect fit for our lifestyle (Harper’s pretty content with her ride too). I love the storage space at the bottom, as it is enough to hold the diaper bag, several shopping bags (trust me, I’ve tried this many times), and a sweater or two. It maneuvers easily and those wheels are the equivalent to 20 inch rims on a tricked out ride. Other features that I absolutely love? It’s lightweight, easy to collapse (of course, it took this new mom a little while to get the hang of it…), and fits nicely into the travel bag (which will be getting more use this weekend!). I love that it can grow with Harper, as it has a toddler seat (which she can actually start to use now!), in addition to the comfortable bassinet for the baby stages (up to 20 pounds)… and when our family grows (no plans anytime soon!!) it can accommodate up to three little kiddos! So, my motto of invest once and use again and again holds true for this Range Rover of strollers.

I highly recommend getting the UPPAbaby carseat as well so that you can transition from the car to stroller seamlessly when the little one is asleep (because who wants to wake a sleeping baby? Especially when you’re heading into the store… not me!). Oh, and don’t forget the cup holder! It’s not easy to hold a drink and push a stroller (or maybe that’s just me…).
