Well, she finally arrived! Harper Genevieve made her appearance into this world on January 7th, 2016 at 1:16pm. Needless to say, the weekend was spent in a hospital robe, or sweat pants, make-up less, trying to acclimate to life with a newborn. Its been an adventure, that’s for sure, and I can’t wait to share more details in the next few upcoming posts. Yet, at this point, all I can say is thank goodness for family who have made grocery store runs for us, made us dinner, and provided an extra level of encouragement… and for friends who offer their support and perfectly timed words of advice! I guess it’s true what they say, “It takes a village.” Have a great week everyone!
