When we finished the construction on our house 3 years ago, it ended with our master bedroom, and I think we were just so excited to bid adieu to our horrible contractor that we had a lot of loose ends that still needed to be tied up… like an actual organizational system in our closets. Three years later and we officially made the commitment to a company, and in 6 weeks, we will finally have functional closets… you don’t want to see what they look like right now. Never thought I would be so excited for closets, but August 16th (install date) can’t come soon enough…
All that to say, it will allow me to finally give some structure to my clothing items… and give me an opportunity to see where there are gaps in my wardrobe (in time for the fall season… not that my mind is anywhere near the cooler months yet). But when I think about organizing pieces, I’m considering giving space to “patterned” items… stripes, florals, etc… pieces that aren’t solids, but can easily fit in with most items in my closet. This floral top being one of them. I don’t own much floral, but when I saw this one, I knew it would work with various bottoms I already owned. So for today’s post I styled it 7 ways, one for each day of the week. I hope it gives a little inspo for any floral items you might own in your closet…
Have a great day!
