When I began doing capsule wardrobes, about four years ago, something I started to realize was that there were several pieces that I could always count on to seamlessly work in my wardrobe across seasons. These cream jeans are one of those items (as are a good pair of jeans in general), as well as basic tees and usually a pullover or two are always great “base” pieces for a wardrobe.
So when I purchased this cotton fisherman sweater (an under $40 almost identical option here) at the beginning of August this year, I knew it would fall under the “base” category: Lightweight enough to work for cooler summer days/evenings (and it’s so cute paired with shorts), and heavy enough to pair with jeans and a jacket in the chillier months.
I’ve worn it so many times since I purchased it in August, but below I’m sharing 7 ways I’ll be wearing, and styling, it for the fall season ahead… and I’m sure I’ll be sharing more to come as we move through the season…
And with that, I hope everyone has a good weekend ahead!
