When Shannon and I went to L.A. last week for a quick lunch getaway at Gracias Madre, I wanted to wear something special. L.A. is only 45 minutes north of us, and the restaurant is pretty casual, but for some reason I felt like celebrating…and sometimes dressing up and making myself look cute is my own mini celebration of getting through the week (yes, it’s absolutely worth celebrating)! I dug through my closet and picked this white lace oldie but goodie (sort of our theme lately). When I wear a dress I immediately feel more dressed up and more feminine-two definite feelings I was going for. Plus, the cut out in the back made me (and the occasion) feel extra special!
