This is kind of a funky time of year for us Southern Californians. For example, last week was hot- I’m talking summer- like temperatures. This week, we are supposedly undergoing a “monster storm.” While the rain hasn’t been nearly the torrential downpour it’s been hyped up to be, it has certainly cooled down. Which is why it’s this time of year that always has me so confused….is it Spring? Still Winter? Is Winter just starting? These questions are the answers and reasons I love being a Californian, and why I keep transitional pieces like these in my closet. The denim jacket: not too light, not too heavy, and it goes with just about everything. A white tank: perfect to be covered in the cool mornings, but comfy and cool for the warmer afternoons. And a maxi skirt like this is light and breezy, but keeps me covered enough that my legs don’t shiver. So bring it on, indecisive California!
