I’m having a very hard time believing that it is already the holiday season. Shannon can verify this, as every time we have discussions about holiday posts, I’m always asking, “Isn’t it a little too soon for that?” And the reality is that it’s not! And is it just me, or does the holiday season seem to come earlier and earlier every year? I mean, Target is opening on Thanksgiving Day this year for Black Friday deals….what?! Any how, the first step to convincing myself that the holidays are here is dressing accordingly (which I am more than happy to do!) I wore boots for the first time last week and I was practically giddy. And on that note, I put together one of my favorite, classic Fall/Winter looks for this season!

I don’t necessarily identify my style as “preppy,” but I’ve always loved this preppy look of pairing a classic knit sweater over a chambray top. I just love the way the collar and the cuffs pop out. And these lace up boots are my favorite shoes of this season-I can’t get enough of the funky/edgy/feminine look of these boots-they are so dimensional to me, and because of this, they fit into any style and any person’s wardrobe!

These earrings from Lisi Lerch are a stunning addition to any outfit. As we do inch closer to the holidays, I increase the amount of gold jewelry I wear, and these big gold bamboo hoops are the perfect way to add traditional class. Who doesn’t love gold hoops, right? Plus, they are so versatile and dressed up this otherwise casual look. Lisi Lerch has so many gorgeous pieces (seen earlier this week here) that offer beauty, class, and color!
