Ok, so I know that I’ve written about our house hunting process a few times already this week, but we found out yesterday that we didn’t get the house. It’s amazing how attached you can get to something that isn’t yours… I mean, I was scouring pinterest the other evening… at the point we found out they accepted another offer, I had bathroom tiles, wood flooring, and a kitchen layout all picked out. It was disappointing, and I may have shed a tear or two, but I truly know that the house that is right for our family is out there… I just have to be patient and trust in God’s timing… and, like I shared last week….”When nothing is certain, anything is possible….”
All that aside, let’s chat about this ribbed cashmere vest for a moment. I’m not typically one to purchase cashmere in the summer months, but when it’s on sale, and excellent quality, it’s worth figuring out how to make it work in the summer. I love the sleeveless option of this one… it’s lightweight, soft, and flows perfectly over any simple outfit. Pair it with cut-offs and a front knotted tank for a casual daytime look, or simply toss it on over a bodycon dress for a casual summer date night. I’ve paired a similar cardigan over a basic black romper… but it would also look super cute over a jumpsuit as well. Bottom line, it’s one of those pieces that’s versatile enough to justify the investment…..
