About 2 weeks ago I turned 24-talk about a milestone birthday (…)! I spent the day with my best friends, lounging at the beach, getting pampered at The Drybar in Newport Beach, enjoying some delicious cuisine at True Food Kitchen, and indulging in some post-dinner drinks later in the evening. It was an ideal day/night!

I wanted to find something special to wear, and I had been searching and hunting for a white lace/crochet skirt for what seemed like forever! When I found this gem at a small boutique in La Jolla I was SO excited…the scalloped bottom adds a little extra dose of fun, and it’s a timeless, versatile piece (in other words, you’ll likely be seeing it in future posts).

I love mixing white with bright pops of color. This cobalt blue color looks great on just about every skin tone, and the cut outs in the back of the top were the perfect way to stand out just a bit!

I genuinely believe that when you feel confident in what you’re wearing, that confidence is translated in so many other ways that are easily noticeable by others, and that is exactly how I felt in this outfit-confident, classy, and glowing. With a few accessories (that I was lucky enough to find fit my wrists/fingers), I was ready to hit the town as a mid- twenty-something!
