Sleek + Modern With Munchkin

When we were putting together Harper’s nursery, I had a fear that it would become saturated with baby products. I know, I know…. she’s a baby, so wouldn’t that logically make sense? Well, I guess what I was looking for was a space that was very baby friendly, but still modern. When we purchased the crib, dresser, and rocking chair I knew I wanted to stick with that theme. Yet, when it came time to picking out the smaller additions to the room (like the real glamorous functional pieces of a nursery… i.e. a wipe warmer) I was hoping to keep with the modern theme.

When I was introduced to the Munchkin STEP Diaper Pail I knew I needed to try it. I mean, don’t get me wrong, who wants to think about something that holds your baby’s waist???! Buuuut, it’s actually something to think about (and trust me, before I had a little one this was the furthest thing from my mind). If I am going to have a diaper pail in clear view in the nursery, it better have a sleek and modern feel… and, it needs to be functional (as in, I can use it while holding a baby in my arms?). Oh, and most importantly, it needs to combat any sort of scent (and you know what I mean by that). The STEP Diaper Pail did just that for us. It has an über modern design, comes with a lavender scented baking soda puck (as in, a built in scent buster), and I don’t have to use my hands to open it (that might be the biggest benefit). And, for each one that is sold, Munchkin plants a tree to help freshen our environment (and that helps Harper’s future, so I’m all for it!). It was really a no brainer addition to our nursery, along with the munchkin wipe warmer!
