It’s a little bittersweet to write this blog post today, as it is officially then end of my “baby bump style” era. These past 9 months were certainly a journey in many ways, and I enjoyed the one of dressing to my ever changing body (although, I might argue that the post-pregnancy body is a little more difficult to dress to than the one with the cute little bump). In the final months of pregnancy, the last thing I wanted to do was purchase an item that I would only be able to wear a handful of times before our little one arrived. So I started to look for roomier pieces that would cover the bump, but also look “oversized” and chic once that bump disappeared. This sweater was a piece that made its way into heavy rotation. I love the oversized nature for a day of running errands, and with the added off the shoulder touch it can easily be dressed up for a night out or a fancier brunch. If there is anything I have taken away from the past 9 months it’s this: versatility is key… find pieces you can wear more than once, to more than one occasion…. or maybe that’s just simple common sense??
