When I was growing up, I was a little Tom-boy. Not the “playing with the boys” kind, but the “you can’t make me wear that dress and bow, mom,” kind. I loved jeans, shorts, overalls, and tops. I mean, they were definitely cute… but they certainly weren’t dresses. Bless my mom for not ever forcing me to wear a dress (except that time I had to for a generational photo shoot with Allison, my mom, aunt, grandma, and great-grandma… I wasn’t happy… as evidenced by the eternal proof in the photo… a frown on my face…). Needless to say, I hope to demonstrate that level of flexibility with our little one… in fact, I’ve already bought her the cutest pair of jeans (no dresses yet :))! Trying to keep in line with my love affair with jeans, these distressed olive ones have rapidly become a staple for me. I love that they can be transitioned between summer and fall and can be rocked dressy or casual. That’s a win-win in my book.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
