I love a casual date night look. One that is polished, but not too “dressy.” So, when TJ and I decided to visit our new favorite taco shop for a mid-week date night, this little ensemble seemed perfect. Since sprouting a bump in my mid-section I have learned to become much more ingenious with my closet. Pieces I haven’t seen in a while are suddenly looking good again. Basics, paired with favorite accessories are making their appearance. I’m also having to learn to embrace uncontrollable changes (as in, there is nothing I can do about my growing mid-section…). Like these shorts you see here are starting to become a wee bit tight… so I am enjoying them while I can and crossing my fingers that the El Nino the Southern California meteorologists keep predicting comes sooner, rather than later (and by sooner I mean October, please!)… because I’m all for leggings, boyfriend tops, and oversized sweaters!
