Since becoming parents, our date nights and date days have fluctuated. We went through a lengthy period, about a year after Harper was born, where we regularly made Saturday morning SoulCycle (spin) + breakfast our weekly date… then we shifted and made earlier dinners our thing… then the pandemic hit and we got really good at doing the whole “date night at home” thing and now we’re trying to get in as many date nights as possible. Feels a little like parents gone wild (kidding….).
On our first date night out, several weeks ago, it took us a little while to actually relax and realize we didn’t have little ones we had to worry about and that, yes, we could actually sit back in our chairs, enjoy every sip and bite of our food and drink, and just talk, uninterrupted.
And that got me inspired to put together today’s post… a roundup of some past date night outfits (circa 2019 since 2020 was pretty much void of them) and some outfits I put together at home that I would 100% wear out… and I tried to create a balance between night and day… but realized I omitted heels (I’m just such a flats girl)… but all outfits could easily work with a pair of neutral heels….
