I took a risk with this little white number. I bought it for our recent trip to Santa Barbara, and couldn’t wait to wear it. While I knew what I was going to wear that first evening, the uncertainty was in what we were going to eat. The initial cravings leaned towards some fresh fish tacos from our favorite Mexican food spot. Yet, halfway through the day that craving shifted to sweet potato fries. Around five, we finally decided on pizza…. and a white dress… not always a smart combination, right? Well, it wasn’t the pizza that made it onto the dress… it was the post dinner chocolate sorbet that landed square on the neckline…
Oh-well, signs of a good meal and good time. Craving talks aside, one of my favorite parts of sumner has to be the just-cool-enough for a light cardigan evenings. As we meandered down State Street, in search of my sorbet craving, a light breeze picked up and this cozy cardigan couldn’t have been more perfect. As we head through August (seriously, where did July go??), I can’t wait to pair it with other wardrobe staples as we soon (not too soon though) transition into fall.
