Two things. One, are you surprised to see a white top? I didn’t think so. Second, are you as shocked as my mom was that I own a pair of jeans that don’t have a single hole in them (she literally asked me, as she helped me with the DIY distressed denim post, “Do you own any that aren’t destructed?”)? In all honesty, this has to be one of the only pairs I own that doesn’t have some sort of distress to them (although, that may not last long… I’m contemplating a raw hem for these…).
All of that aside, I remember when I snagged these jeans six years ago… I loved their fit and the way they made my short 5’1″ legs appear much longer (especially when paired with a heel)… and they were a welcome break from the skinny jeans that abounded. Once I became pregnant, I forgot about them until we headed out to dinner the other evening. I decided to pull them out. I fell in love with them all over again… not too tight, just the right amount of stretch, and elongating the legs… just how I had remembered them. I opted for this light and airy bell sleeved blouse and neutral mule booties to complete the margarita sipping ensemble….
Bell sleeves are having a moment right now and I’m kinda loving them (when they’re not overly intense). I have my eye on a few other bell sleeved pieces and thought I’d share them with you too. I think this blouse is gorgeous and it comes in so many color options…. it can also be dressed up or down. I’m also loving this brown sweater, particularly the texture of it. This olive sweater (also comes in cream) looks super cozy (and is sitting in my shopping cart) as does this other olive option. If you want a little more drama (in the sleeves that is… not life…) this black one is pretty perfect…. and check out this dress if you’re looking for something a little fancier.
