Each Sunday evening, a small tinge of anxiety creeps over me. The sense that there is “so much to get done within the week,” questioning if I maximized the weekend enough, and a general curiosity of what the week will bring… as there is always some little unexpected something that pops up (is that true for everyone, or just me??). Earlier this evening, I stumbled upon this quote:
“You may not see it today or tomorrow, but you will look back in a few years and be absolutely perplexed and awed by how every little thing added up and brought you somewhere wonderful- or where you always wanted to be. You will be grateful that things didn’t work out the way you wanted them to.”
So, that is how I am entering this week. How I am managing my anxiety. A silent little whisper, when those anxious thoughts enter, of “Let be and Let God…” because, ultimately, it’s all for the bigger picture. I hope this helps everyone to have a little relief heading into the work week 🙂
The mornings were hot this weekend, so no hikes were on the agenda (I was hoping to get out to Malibu and check out a new trail)… so instead I used this circuit workout from a few weeks back to feel energized.
