Weekend Recap: San Diego

La Jolla, Ca

When your parents call and ask you if you’d like to join them on a trip to San Diego for the weekend, you simply don’t say no. Lucky for TJ and me, that’s exactly what happened. We’re a traveling family and my parents were kind enough to offer us one of their free hotel nights so that we could join them in one of our favorite cities: San Diego. We spent the week before planning out where we wanted to eat and visit, and all of our favorite spots made the agenda. As I reflected on our time spent with my parents this past weekend I thought about the evolution of our parent-child relationship and felt truly blessed to be able to call my parents friends. The only thing missing form the weekend festivities? Allison, of course. She was frolicking around Las Vegas… and having too much fun that she forgot to take any pics! Whoops :). Hope you all have a great week!
