Moscow Mules

We’ve been mixologists over here for the past few weeks! I’m not sure if it has to do with the fabulously beautiful Southern California weather, or if it has more to do with wanting to recreate recent travels?? Whatever it is, I’m certainly not complaining. I’ve typically been one to tow the line when it comes to indulgent cocktails at a restaurant. Wine (red, white, rose… I won’t discriminate), Champagne, Lemon Drops, Tequila on the Rocks… I’m a go. Yet, anything slightly more exotic than that and I tend to hesitate. When we were in Vegas a few weeks ago though, I had a few sips of the hubby’s Moscow Mule and was sold on it’s smooth and refreshing taste… and thought the cups (via Crate&Barrel) were to die for!  So, it was recreation time this past weekend! Check out this YouTube video from the Four Seasons on how to artist-fully recreate this delightfully indulgent and refreshing cocktail!  Oh and by the way, ginger beer (aside from Vodka it’s the main ingredient in this cocktail) really isn’t beer… it’s just like root-beer. I learn something new everyday!
